Howard Gadd Memorial Fund

Does your church have limited means to provide servers with new cassocks, cottas or albs, and have servers who are Guild members?  If so, the Howard Gadd Memorial Fund may be able to help.

Howard Gadd was Secretary General to the Guild from 1971-1993, and after his death, Howard left funds where the interest might be used to help churches with Guild members, to provide new robes for servers.

The fund is administered by three experienced members of the General Council of The Guild with grants up to 50% of the cost of new robes, subject to a maximum of £500.00. All items would belong to the church, although robes are often tailored for an individual.

If any church, where there are Guild members, wish to have a little help with their purchase, please download the application using the button below and return the form to Grand Councillor Nigel Makepeace.
